By accessing and using TRIMR at https://trimr.net ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TRIMR is a free, browser-based audio trimming tool. It allows users to load audio files, select a trim region using a waveform visualiser, preview the selection, and export the trimmed audio in various formats. All processing occurs locally within the user's browser; no audio data is transmitted to our servers.

3. Permitted Use

You may use TRIMR for personal, commercial, and educational purposes, provided that:

• You only process audio files that you own or have the legal right to edit.
• You comply with all applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
• You do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• You do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service beyond what is naturally available in a browser context.
• You do not use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service in a manner that causes unreasonable load.

4. Intellectual Property

TRIMR and its associated code, design, branding, and content are the intellectual property of TRIMR ("we", "us"). You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for lawful purposes.

You retain all ownership and rights to any audio files you process using TRIMR. We claim no ownership over any content you upload or export.

5. Copyright Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any audio you trim and export complies with copyright law. TRIMR processes files locally in your browser and has no ability to monitor or review the content of your files. Do not use TRIMR to infringe upon the copyright of others.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

TRIMR is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

Your use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TRIMR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party components including Google Analytics, Google Fonts, and the lamejs library (hosted via Cloudflare CDN). Your use of these components is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

9. Service Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
